This week I worked on improvements on my photomontages. My main focus was creating a distinct foreground, middle ground, and background. I also reviewed my entourage, and made changes or added more where necessary.
For this image I moved around the entourage, and added the couple sitting in the foreground. I also spruced up the background by adding some more trees.
I added more trees to the background in this image, and made them more opaque in order to show they are more distant than the trees in the middle ground and foreground. I also added a snowman for more character. I did a few other small changes with the scale of the entourage, and smoothed out the mounds.
Last time, this image was the least developed, and it has received the most changes since then. I wanted to create a greater sense of enclosure with the trees, and I also created a foreground with the view from a biker with her dog in the basket. I think this really added more character to this image!
